Edward Vincent Dargin


Edward Vincent Dargin was an American clergyman of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of New York from 1953 to 1973.

Edward Dargin was born in New York City, one of four children. He graduated from Fordham University in 1919, and completed his theological studies at St. Josephs Seminary in Yonkers. He earned a Doctor of Canon Law degree from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He was ordained to the priesthood by Cardinal Patrick Joseph Hayes on September 23, 1922.
